NSU Libraries maintains a Nursing LibGuide that contains a comprehensive list of the databases, with descriptions, that best assist with research in the field of nursing. This list can be accessed in the following ways:
- At the bottom right of the NSU Libraries homepage, under the "Resources by College" heading, select the College of Health Professions. You will be redirected to the "Library Instruction for Science and Health Professions" page, where you will find the Nursing LibGuide linked under the "Health Professions" heading.
- In the middle of the NSU Libraries homepage, select the black and yellow "Subject Resources" box. You will be redirected to the Subject Resources page, where you will find the Nursing LibGuide linked in the right column.
- Navigate directly to the Nursing LibGuide.
Another tool for finding Nursing databases is the A-Z Databases list. The link to this list can be found beneath the search bar on the NSU Libraries homepage or via the "Articles and Databases" link in the "Research" dropdown menu in the black navigation bar at the top of any NSU Libraries webpage. After navigating to the A-Z Databases list, you can locate databases related to the field of Nursing in one of two ways:
- Search "nursing" as a keyword in the "Database Title / Keyword" box, or
- Select "Health Professions" in the dropdown menu of the "Subjects" box.
Note: Databases marked [Restricted] require a password to access. Contact the Health Sciences Librarian for assistance with password protected databases.
