After finding a book that you would like to borrow, proceed to one of the libraries' circulation desks where you will present your student ID along with the items that you are wishing to check out.  At the John Vaughan Library in Tahlequah, there is a circulation desk near both entrances (north and south); at the library in Broken Arrow, the circulation desk (aka the reference desk) is on the second floor near the entrance.  Here are the floorplans for both campus locations:

One of the library employees at the circulation desk will be able to help you check out your book.

If you are a public patron in Broken Arrow, you will need to create an account with the library before you can check out books. If you already have an account you will need to provide a state issued ID upon request at the circulation desk. If you are a public patron unaffiliated with NSU in Tahlequah, you are required to complete a Patron Lending Card application prior to checking out circulating print and audiovisual items. Public patrons must present their card at the circulation desk when checking out items.
